Our Story

OK2 Construction was established in Cleburne, TX in 2015. We have operated in 15 states with a focus on US Air Force and National Park construction projects. As a General Contractor with self-performance capability and proven experience our team is closing in on successfully completing 200 contracts.

Our company President Kenneth Kurk began his initial entry into the construction industry as a teenager in the early 1990s. After high school graduation, Mr. Kurk enlisted in the US Air Force. His military experience included deployments to support combat operations in Afghanistan, Iraq and Kosovo. In 2006, after 12 years of service, Ken was medically retired and began his journey as a business owner.

Ken started his first company in 2007, providing pre-construction services to support estimating/bid proposal development which evolved into project management consulting. After gaining experience and success, he started OK2 Construction. Over the last 30 years, Ken has been working for or with the US Air Force while accumulating almost two decades of experience as a business owner working in the US Federal Government Construction Sector.

Today our company is poised for continued success backed by our experienced Project Managers/Superintendents and driven by our hard charging Tradesman delivering well crafted work.
